Beaded Jewelry Designers Biography

Source (google.com.pk )
Using a single needle and tiny beads, I explore the characteristics and push the possibilities of basic stitch structures. Each new piece leads to new ‘what if…?'s.  I just love seeing how things go together. My reward is in capturing space and light in a three-dimensional, textural form that is innovative, yet eminently wearable.

Leslee Frumin, a bead and metal artist from San Juan Capistrano, California teaches off-loom bead weaving as well as metal/jewelry techniques. She has been teaching for a number of years and truly enjoys it.
Leslee's passion for all the colors and textures made possible by the marriage between beads, metals and stones keeps her excited. She fabricates clasps and connectors and often sets semi-precious stones to enhance the design. Her art jewelry pieces are one of a kind. Leslee has won awards for some of her combination bead and metal projects.
My background is in graphic design and illustration. I started my line of retro vintage-look jewelry in 1989 under the Diane H. Designs name. My work has appeared in galleries, at fine art shows, in a nationally distributed San Francisco based mail order catalog, in Von Maur Dept. Stores, at trunk shows for Nordstrom’s Dept. Store, and in articles for Bead & Button and Haute Handbag magazine. I have been making jewelry since the 1970’s, beading since 1994, and teaching classes since 2002.
I started Designer’s Findings in 1999 as a sideline to my Diane H. Designs line of  vintage-look jewelry - a direct result from inquires by other jewelry artists at the shows I participated in. They were interested in purchasing some of the unusual and hard to find components I was using in my work. Realizing there might be many others who would be interested also, I started Designer’s Findings. I always love to see what my customers have created with the components they purchase from me.
My personal creative journey at the moment is to explore beadwork that reflects a found object esthetic (My Beadpunk style), and Victorian-look themes. I continue to experiment with ways to take my work to interesting, new, and uncharted places.
I was born and raised in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. Along with living in Santa Fe, I have spent my entire life on our family ranch. I currently sell my jewelry on Santa Fe's Historic Plaza through the City of Santa Fe's Plaza Vendor Program. Through this program I am able to meet customers from all over the world.
I am a self-taught bead artist and have been creating original, delicate designs since 1992. In 1997 I created my Flower Garden Necklace. This wire wrapped pattern has been well received through the years and is now my top selling item on the Plaza. My customers tell me that this necklace is a conversation piece and makes them very happy when they wear it. My highest compliment is their repeat business.
My beaded jewelry pieces are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted originals. I generally work in three beadwork methods: Beadweaving, General Jewelry Construction and my own Wire-Wrapping Technique for the Flower Garden Necklaces. I use high quality materials such as natural stones & pearls, sterling & fine silver, artistic glass, seed beads, etc. Beadwork is a very colorful and expressive art form. I am constantly inspired by nature and the beautiful scenery I am surrounded by. I also believe in sharing my skills with others and have been teaching beadwork classes since 1996. I aim to explore new techniques, designs and ideas
