Corrine earned her B.F.A. degree in Metal Arts in 1984 from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. After an apprentice with a Russian goldsmith, she went to work in her home state of Michigan. In 1986, she started her own company and began manufacturing for several local jewelers. Her custom design business grew, and in 1990 she opened her retail store.
In 1998, Corrine moved to Carlsbad, California, to teach jewelry design and manufacturing at the Gemological Institute of America. Over the next seven years, over 50 of her students won awards in International design competitions. She also co-authored the Institute's enameling and design textbooks. In 2005, she left teaching to return to jewelry designing full time.
Today, Corrine's jewelry designs are influenced by the scenic natural beauty of San Diego. Her elegant pieces are composed of bold forms and graceful lines that evoke the reefs and cliffs along the coastline. Corrine strives to create product lines that combine stimulating visual elements and technical virtuosity.

Alongside my contemporary jewellery studies, I also received the German Goldsmith Diploma (Gesellenbrief) and the UK Stone Setting Diploma in 2006.
After my MA graduation in 2007, I moved from the UK to Shanghai, China to take up my work as Course Director of the Contemporary Jewellery Foundation Course at AIVA (Academy of International Visual Arts).
Alongside my work on the course, I continue developing my own work, which might show a bit of the daily craziness that surrounds me in my new Chinese home! ;)
