Wedding Jewelry Designs Biography
Source(google.com.pk)"I've always been inspired by fashion, nature, and my travels around the world. The elegant fabrics in a gown, the striking colors in an exotic flower, the mood of a place all greatly influence my work.
Designing for me is a sacred creative journey. It starts with the raw materials, the weight of a gemstone in my hand, the sparkle of thousands of crystals against the skin, the flash of light from polished precious metals. With these materials, I create one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that are unique and timeless.
Purely handmade pieces are rare in our modern world. Every detail in my jewelry designs possesses a love and tradition of artisanal hand-craftsmanship found only in true couture.
When I design, I invite you to take a creative journey with me, to explore and be inspired by a sense of wonder and beauty. And my hope is that you will want to take this journey with me again and again." - Michelle Pajak-Reynolds
As a little girl, Michelle Pajak-Reynolds spent hours playing with pop-beads and jelly bracelets in front of a television watching Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman. "Wonder Woman’s jewelry gave her super powers, confidence and enabled her to change the world. My passion for making jewelry is to help my clients feel like the most beautiful and confident women in the world and as though they can conquer anything.”
Michelle's love of jewelry and design runs deep into her DNA. Her parents fell in love over a K-Mart jewelry counter; Michelle's dad was a Cleveland Clinic police officer and her mom was a jewelry department manager. Michelle's mom also made many of her childhood clothes and her grandmothers were always sewing and creating. Michelle's formal jewelry and metalsmithing training began in a 10th grade jewelry class at Mentor High School and she went on to perfect her artistic and business skills via a BFA in Jewelry from Kent State University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Baldwin-Wallace University
Michelle's jewelry is highly sought after by fashion stylists, celebrities and collectors. Her pieces have been exhibited internationally and worn by celebrities including Sophia Bush, Jillian Barberie, Nona Gaye, Dina Manzo, and Miss Brazil 2010 Debora Lyra. Michelle's designs have also been featured on the cover of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, LA Brides, and Created Woman magazines and the runways of New York Fashion Week.
Canadians may think they have a reputation for standing in the shadow of our showier American neighbours, but one look at the jewels in this gallery renders that claim false. They take pride in the uniqueness of their creations using semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, rocks, charms and metal to fashion one-of-a-kind pieces that are handcrafted with passion and TLC.
